This session was recored at Health & Safety Matters Live Leeds in March 2026. Regular noise dosimetry is vital in combating noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) because it measures true, personal exposure throughout a worker’s shift, capturing fluctuations and high-risk tasks that spot checks often miss. This continuous, worker-specific data allows employers to identify hazardous areas, verify the effectiveness of hearing protection.
New technology is accelerating dosimetry adoption and encouraging consistent use. We will discuss how this technology is being applied to reduce administrative burden, improve accuracy and improve cost-effectiveness.
