Good well specified and competently sourced PPE saves! It saves lives! When risks can't be eliminated, PPE is essential, but only if it's fit for purpose and properly specified.
PPE saves heads, eyes, skin, our hearing, it saves lungs hands, bodies and feet. Roy and Alan will explain that good quality fit-for-purpose PPE protects workers from serious harm and long-term illness.
They will illustrate that quality PPE also increases comfort, worker’s morale their productivity and their confidence. The webinar will also update the audience on impacts of changing legislation and the situation around market surveillance in the UK. It will also be an opportunity for the audience to get a brief overview of the new British Standard BS 30417 on “Procurement and Provision of Inclusive PPE – a Guide”
